KOROY recently improved the completeness of its smart factory through the establishment of Microsoft 365 (M365) infrastructure, and improved productivity through DX activities in all areas, including R&D, production, and sales.
The subscription service M365, provides a variety of services including office, Windows, security, and cloud. It provides a platform for effective collaboration by integrating office apps, services, and solutions. Through this, KORLOY has improved the work environment.
Jeong-hyeon Lim, the president of KORLOY mentioned, "To make digital transformation, we are applying ICT technology for the completeness of the smart factory which can derive optimal production method and control the process. We are planning to apply the same technology to the R&D or sales direction setting."
He also said, “The biggest change after applying M365 is faster business communication with members. The overall productivity of paper work, including work sharing and history management, has been improved. Report documents and meetings that had been delivered several times through paper in the past have been improved. It has led to changes in the digital work environment by shortening the time required to prepare materials.”
